The Chairman of the Central Elections Commission (CEC), Dr. Rami Hamdallah received today, Monday, the Consul General of Italy in Jerusalem, Domenico Pilato, at the CEC HQ in Al-Bireh to discuss the latest developments concerning ongoing preparations for conducting the 2026 Local Elections.

Al-Bireh – The Central Elections Commission (CEC) held a consultation session with the representatives of Palestinian political parties and factions, out of its keenness to enhance dialogue and consultations with the treasuries and representatives of political parties and factions, in order to discuss the ongoing preparations for conducting the 2026 Local Elections

The Central Elections Commission (CEC) announced today, Saturday, closing registration for the 2026 Local Elections in all registration centers and CEC offices, as well as online, according to the approved plan and the legal period announced to the public.
