Early Voting of Security Forces

The CEC announces that early voting of security forces will take place on Thursday, 11 May from 7:00 am till 7:00 pm to enable them from exercising their electoral right while undertaking their responsibility in securing the official elections day on 13 May.

The CEC will open 10 polling centers with 26 polling stations including  25 localities of the West Bank which have more than 200 registered security personnel. The total number of registered security forces in these localities is 11 thousand voters.

At the end of the pre-voting day, the ballot boxes will be transferred and securely kept in special rooms inside each center. Ballot boxes will be open for tabulation at the end of the official polling day and the results will be announced on the official day of declaration of election results. early voting and counting will follow the same set of procedures of the official polling day.

It should be indicated that security personnel whose names are not listed in the early voting lists are entitled to vote on the official elections day, provided that they are registered voters
