The Central Elections Commission (CEC) Chairman, Hanna Nasir, participated in a meeting last night to brief the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) Executive Committee, chaired by President Mahmoud Abbas, on the upcoming 2021 Palestinian elections, highlighting the elections scheduled to take place in Jerusalem.
 

The Central Elections Commission (CEC) denounced the series of arrests led by the Israeli occupation authorities against Legislative Council candidates, particularly those running in occupied Jerusalem. 

The Central Elections Commission (CEC) will conduct five trainings in the West Bank and Gaza Strip throughout the upcoming week, for 200 local observers accredited for the 2021 Palestinian elections. 

The Elections Court in both the West Bank and Gaza Strip rejected all 18 appeals submitted against the Central Elections Commission’s (CEC) decisions to accept the nominations of electoral lists and candidates running for the upcoming 2021 legislative elections.
