The Central Elections Commission (CEC) published today; Saturday, the final registry of electoral lists and candidates for the first phase of the 2021 Local Elections, In conjunction with the start of the Electoral Campaigning period, which will last until 9/12/2021.

The Central Elections Commission in cooperation with the Arab Network for Women in Elections celebrated on Thursday 25/11/2021; the launching of the regional campaign aimed at strengthening Women’s Participation in the Elections. The latter is supervised by the ArabEMB’s and coincides with the 2021 Palestinian local elections. 

Under the auspices and in presence of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian Authority and the European Union inaugurated today the new headquarters of the Palestinian Central Elections Commission (CEC) in Ramallah. The Chairman of the CEC Dr. Hanna Nasir, the European Union Representative Sven Kühn von Burgsdorff, the European Union Heads of Mission, members of the Palestinian leadership, and representatives of Palestinian factions attended the event

The Central Elections Commissions (CEC) announced today; Sunday, the exhibition of the preliminary register of Nominated Electoral Lists, which includes 765 electoral lists nominated for 329 localities out of 376 coinciding with the first phase of the Local Elections where polling is scheduled on 11/12/2021.
