Training of registration, exhibition and challenge staff commences for two days

In preparations for the upcoming Local Council Elections scheduled October 8th, the CEC has commenced today a two –day centralized training in both the West Bank (WB) and Gaza Strip (GS) for registration, exhibition and challenge staff and the electoral procedures staff.

The training is targeting 142 supervisors in the WB and 64 in Gaza with focus on registration conditions and requirements, processing of objections to registration, and the awareness and education campaign during this period.

Trained supervisors will, on their part, conduct a decentralized training on Wednesday to registration staff in all districts of the WB and GS who will be receiving registrants at the registration centers during the period 23-27 July 2016.
