Today is the last day for nomination

Today marks the last day of nomination for the Second Complementary Elections which lasted for ten days as of 16 April 2013. CEC offices will remain open till midnight in the 36 localities where elections will be held on June 1st.

The CEC is currently processing nomination applications. The preliminary results will be published on Sunday, April 28th for three days at localities centers as well as CEC district offices to allow for citizens to review the list of candidates and object to nominations. Objections before election court will be reviewed within three days.

Nominated lists may withdraw nomination until May 17th before the CEC publishes the final list on May 18th.
