The 2019 Voter Registry Update Commences today

The Central Elections Commission (CEC) launched today the annual voter registry update process targeting high school students who reached the eligible registration age in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. 

Registration will continue for ten days until March 19th where sixty- nine thousand high school students in 905 schools will be registered online.

In addition to the registration of high school students, the CEC draws the attention of the general public that online registration is available through CEC’s Webpage throughout the year. Unregistered voters residing in Palestine or abroad who are 17 years and above and holders of Palestinian identification cards are encouraged to register online.

It should be indicated that voter registry update is an annual process the CEC conductus according to law to ensure full readiness to any upcoming electoral process when called for as registration is a requirement for voting.
