The CEC Commences training of polling and counting staff

In preparations for the upcoming complementary local elections scheduled to take place in 14 of West Bank localities on 29 July 2017, the CEC has commenced a series of trainings of polling and counting staff as of today until July 26th.

Five centralized training sessions, one day each, will be implemented targeting 414 staff members from the CEC and the Ministry of Education. 

The training will focus on polling and counting procedures, code of conduct for election stakeholders, processing of complaints and other technical aspects. The training will also include a simulation to the electoral process. 

The trained staff will be deployed to 25 polling centers across the 14 localities on elections day.
