The CEC launches voters’ awareness campaign

The CEC launched today voters’ awareness campaign targeting non-registered voters in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The campaign include awareness messages in newspapers, TV and radio stations, social media in addition to publications distributed to citizens through field awareness campaign. Special publications were designated for Persons with vision impairment in Braille.

The campaign encourages non-registered voters who turned the legal age of registration, 17 years and above, to register in the nearest registration center to their place of residency during the registration period from 23-27 July 2016. Online registration is also available through CEC’s webpage.

According to elections law, registration is a requirement for nomination and voting in elections.
