High turnout at registration centers in the first two days of voter registration

In the first two days of registration in the West Bank and Gaza which commenced Monday till February 18, the CEC managed to register 70, 000 voters. Registration centers witnessed an unprecedented registration turnout especially in Gaza Strip. The CEC deployed mobile registration teams to universities and schools to register youth.

Overall, registration is carried out as planned with no major obstacles. The CEC calls on all Palestinians to head to registration centers to practice their rights since registration is a requirement for nomination and elections.
