The CEC delegation participated in observing the Lebanese parliamentary elections, the delegation included the CEC Commissioner Judge Iman Naserdin, Deputy CEO Ashraf Shuaibi and Jerusalem District Coordinator Ziad AlBakry. The delegation was invited by the Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections who invited 37 other experts, lawyers and journalist from 17 different Arab countries.
The delegation met several Lebanese political leaders who welcomed the role of the
observing missions in assuring the transparency of the electoral process. Moreover, the delegation visited the Lebanese Ministry of Interior and the body that is in charge of implementing elections, they also organized several meetings with international observation bodies.
