Today, the CEC commenced the incorporation of the Palestinians data who registered during the voterzzz*zs registry update process into an electronic data base in preparation for listing them in the voterszzz*z list.
Twenty five staff members are tasked with incorporating the data into electronic program s designed especially for this aim. This process is expected to last for ten days after that, the CEC will issue reports on the total number of registrants listed in the voterszzz*z list in addition to other detailed statistics.
On March 28, 2007, the CEC opened 574 voterzzz*zs registry update centers where 61,953 Palestinians were registered in all districts, 38,681 of which in the West Bank and 23,272 in Gaza Strip. The Data entry process is considered as a later stage of the registry update process conducted by the CEC to maintain an accurate and comprehensive voterszzz*z list.
