The CEC reactivates Electronic Registration

Monday, May 30, 2022

The Central Elections Commission (CEC) announced reopening electronic registration for new voters, in order to maintain an updated Voter Registry, in preparation for any called for electoral process.

The CEC stated in a press release that it has reactivated the Electronic Registration Program through its website (www.elections.ps), calling all non-registered citizens, especially the Youth, to register, explaining that registration is open to any Palestinian who is 17 years old and above, and who has the legal capacity.

On the other hand, the CEC indicated that citizens who wish to edit their personal data in the Voter Registry, or change their polling stations could do so through its district offices located in all governorates in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Notably, there are 2.6 million citizens (males and females) registered in the Voter Registry according to the last update that took place last December, as part of the second phase of the Local Elections.
