Representatives of the Central Elections Commission- Palestine participated in the preparatory meeting of the Arab Network for Youth in Elections, which started Monday in Istanbul- Turkey.
The Head of the Executive Board of the Organization of Arab Electoral Management Bodies (ArabEMBs), and the CEO of the CEC-Palestine, Mr. Hisham Kuhail is attending the sessions of this 2-day meeting. Along with, Mr. Mousa AlMaaitah, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Election Commission - Jordan, and Mr. Imad As-Sayeh, Chairman of The Libyan High National Election Commission, in addition to, Mr. Luis Martinez, the Regional Electoral Advisor of Arab States in the UNDP, the supporting body of the Organization of ArabEMBs.
During this 2-day meeting, representatives of the Network’s preparatory working group from Palestine, Jordan, Tunisia, Libya, and Sudan are discussing the Network’s work plans and axes, as well as putting the final touches for its launch, after two years of the first efforts to establish it has started.
