The Central Elections Commission (CEC) announces that elections campaigning for the re-run local elections ends by midnight of Thursday, 20th September according to elections timberline.
The CEC calls upon candidates, political parties and the media to adhere to the elections law and campaigning regulations by refraining from publishing any electoral campaigning material, by any means, after the said date. It is worth mentioning that the election campaign extends for 13 days, which starts two weeks before the polling day, and stops 24 hours before it.
On the other hand, voting will take place on September 22nd in 5 localities in the West Bank. Polling centers will be open from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm.
