The Cabinet decides to postpone the complementary local elections

Due to the current situation in Gaza and the West Bank, the Cabinet has decided in its session held today to postpone complementary local elections originally scheduled to take place on Saturday, 24th November 2012 to a date to be determined later. Although the CEC recognizes the difficult security situation the country is going through, it maintains hope to resume the electoral process as soon as possible.
