Accreditation of elections observers
The CEC accepts applications for accreditation from potential elections observers. As the independent administrator of Palestinian elections, the CEC is committed to openness and encourages the participation of electoral observers in elections. Observers will receive accreditation to witness all electoral activities, from voter registration to the announcement of the election results.
Accreditation of international observers for the 2011 elections will begin March 20th and continue until July 1st.
Electronic accreditation
Government delegations, regional organizations and NGOs working in relevant fields (such as democracy, human rights, and the like) are encouraged to apply electronically.
Upon completion of the online application form, you will be asked to attach an official letter addressed to the CEC by your government or organization, verifying your request for accreditation as an international observation body.
After your application has been processed, you will receive an e-mail containing a link and a code which will enable you to nominate observers from your organization.

Manual accreditation
Alternatively, you may apply by filling out the application form and submitting it, along with an official letter, to the CEC’s headquarters in Ramallah. The list of proposed observers and each observer’s declaration and pledge may be submitted along with the application, or following accreditation.:

Accreditation of international media representatives
The CEC accepts accreditation applications from media representatives who wish to cover the elections. As the independent administrator of Palestinian elections, the CEC is committed to openness and encourages the participation of the media in the upcoming elections.
Media representatives will receive accreditation to cover all electoral activities, from voter registration to the announcement of the election results.

Local and international media outlets, journalists, photographers and camera operators are encouraged to apply electronically.

Alternatively, you may download the application forms and submit them in person at the CEC’s headquarters at the Qasr al Morjan building in al Balou, Ramallah, or send them by post to P.O.Box 2319, Ramallah.

Media representatives are required to submit the following documents in order to receive accreditation from the CEC:

• Two 2X3cm passport photographs
• A photocopy of applicant’s identification card or passport
Receiving your accreditation card
Once you are notified that your media accreditation card is ready, you may pick it up at the CEC’s headquarters in Ramallah. Alternatively, if you would like someone other than yourself to pick up your card, please fill out the following form and have the designated recipient bring it with him/her to collect your card:
