During off-election periods, the CEC implements voter education projects targeting youth, women, etc to raise electoral awareness among these groups and encourage them to participate in future elections. In addition the CEC cooperates with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in implementing projects related to elections and democracy.

The CEC also conducts capacity building projects for its staff to maintain readiness for elections.
