After publishing the open call for proposals on 16/11/2015 in the local newspapers, the CEC received 192 project proposals. 30 projects were selected according to pre-set criteria including project concept, impact, expected results, scope, budget and the ability of the institutions to implement joint projects during 2016 over two phases.

A third round of this EU funded projects program commenced mid-September 2017, for a period of 2 months, with participation of 14 CSOs in both the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The majority of activities under this round targeted a wide sector of citizens and decision-makers, in order to enhance political participation in general and electoral participation in particular.
