The Central Elections Commission (CEC) received the Cabinet’s decision issued on 6 May 2019 calling for holding local council elections in fourteen localities in the Wes Bank.
The CEC expressed its readiness to hold elections in the specified localities on the assigned day of 13 July 2019 in accordance with the Cabinet’s decision.
In this respect, the CEC will publish soon the elections timeline which specifies the elections phases of registration, exhibition and challenge, nomination, elections campaigning and polling day.
